    An excellent introduction to professional networking! You have clearly set out the concept of professional networking and its objectives. I understand the post talks about creating "mutually beneficial connections," but the focus on "favours" can be seen as a bit off putting. I believe building genuine connections through networking is more important in the long run, than merely conducting transactions.
